XXX National Urban Conference

Creative reimagination of urban spaces: sustainable infrastructures and community solutions.

For the 30th time, the Hungarian Urban Planning Association is organising a major event for the diverse urban planning profession in Hungary, this year in partnership with Urbavis Kft. The conference, attended by 150-200 participants, will bring together decision-makers and professionals from local government, policy, real estate development, consultancy, academia and the civil sector.

This year, the conference will focus on the efficient, sustainable and creative use of under-utilised urban land, with a special emphasis on the use of innovative blue-green infrastructure. The conference will also focus on sharing community solutions and good practices that are implemented through the cooperation of the public, private, competitive, civil and academic sectors.

Gabriella Király from BUM will be one of the session chairs on Urban Economic and Service Development, Efficient Housing and Spatial Management. 

The main themes of the conference are:

  • Sustainable green space management, green and blue infrastructure development in our cities
